Things To Do
Find and Go Seek - A great site put together by a family in Williston, VT to help parents find fun things to do that everybody will enjoy.
Green Mountain Moms - An online discussion group for pregnant women and moms about a range of topics related to kids and parenting. Run by the Burlington Free Press.
Kids Vermont - A local newspaper dedicated to kids and families. The online calendar of events is a great resource to find playgroups and other kid-friendly activities.
MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers. This is a large, diverse group of Mothers who meet throughout the school year to share brunch, a variety of speakers, and support each other around a variety of parenting issues. MOPS is connected to the Essex Alliance church however mothers of all beliefs are welcome to participate.
Moms Club of Burlington - If you live in or near Burlington and are looking to connect with other Moms, this group of lively women is for you. With regularly scheduled activities (playgroups, park dates, girls night out) this group provides a range of options for Moms to connect in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
Parenting
Empowering Programs - Scott is a child behavioral specialist who does seminars throughout the Burlington area on a range of topics related to positive discipline. He is a fantastic and knowledgable speaker, email him about opportunties to attend a class. There is also a wealth of helpful information on his site.
Parenting on Track - Vicki is a funny and knowledgeable parenting educator who has been teaching in northern VT for many years. These classes offer practical guidance for parents with children from birth to college and we highly recommend them! Classes fill up quickly so don't hesitate to sign up if you see one being offered near you.

Please note, you can order products "online" and then pick them up in Williston (they have a wider selection online and by picking them up yourself you save the shipping fee).
